Bellarke WIP Moodboard + Fic Update

Been working on a lot of journaling offline, putting me in the mood to record more of my thoughts and stuff so why not expand some of that into posting on here! I've missed yelling to the fandom void.

Here's my Pinterest board so far for a WIP that I've been slowly working on. Right now it's just vibes atm, but I finished outlining the first chapter today which was exciting! I've been starting to play around with the tone of it. I'm really aiming for hazy, summer vibes with it. Florida/Southern gothic aesthetic. I've had this idea for a while now and while at one point I was testing if I wanted it to be original story, I ultimately feel like my original concept for it as a Bellarke AU is the direction I want to stick with! I've been missing writing those two so it's nice to imagine them in scenarios again lol. Might rewatch some of my favorite episodes to get back into it as well! I imagine it'll have some season two and three vibes from the show.

No timeline atm for this! I like the idea that I'll be writing it quickly, but I've learned to temper my expectations. One of my goals is that before posting each chapter, to have the next one solidly outlined or almost done first.

Otherwise I'm slowly chipping away on some other WIPs. I'm trying to hold myself less firmly to anything until I'm truly in a rhythm. If one calls out to me, I'll switch it up! A couple drabble-esque fics are almost done, as well as the first chapter for a Hellcheer Troped AU. Those might get their own rambling posts later!

As part of this attempt to...you know, get back into it, even though it's been a while and it's a little overwhelming, I am requesting requests.

That pic for a painter bellamy aesthetic has me feeling things like he does that as an outlet to his shitty family life but he doesn't think he's any good and they meet in art class cause Kane as his art teacher insisted he worked on his skills. she's much better but she admires his natural talent, the darkness of his paintings, it has something of her own. They're put up on a project together and Clarke catches a glimpse into his really hard life. He's taking care of his baby sis, his mom's working all the time, he works after school and paints in the evening. She doesn't realize how slowly easily she starts falling for him.
